We Care about the Environment
At Lizeidy’s Balloon and Events, we ensure to use the best quality products. At the same time, we select our materials, manufacturers, and practices to be safe for the environment.
Our balloon manufacturers produce 100% biodegradable balloons. Since latex is a 100% natural product, it will break down into a residue that is not harmful to the environment. Latex balloons biodegrade at about the same rate as other natural products, such as oak leaves and wood fibers. It is a chemical process not always visible in the early stages.
Rubber Extraction
The natural rubber extracted from the trees has the same extraction process as maple syrup, a process that has no harmful impact on the health of the rubber tree.
Rubber Sourcing
The balloon manufacturers are sourcing their natural rubber from Rainforest Alliance Certified Plantations. This is an international, non-profit organization working to build strong forests and healthy agricultural landscapes.
CO2 Absorption
The maintenance and planting of rubber trees has a significant impact on reducing climate change. A single rubber tree, during its lifetime, counteracts the carbon emissions from a car being driven 22,300 miles.
At Lizeidy’s Balloons and Events, we advocate smart balloon practices: keep balloons secured with weights; do not release them into the air, and properly dispose of deflated or popped balloons.
